Widely known for their bolder Cuban-style blends, Oliva decided to show their softer side with the Oliva Connecticut Reserve Toro cigars. The cigars start off with the same signature aged Nicaraguan binder and fillers used on many of their heartier blends, however, to turn down the heat a bit, a silky golden-brown Ecuadorian-seed Connecticut Shade wrapper is applied. The result is a mellow to medium bodied smoke that displays exceptionally smooth notes of coffee, cream, cedar, and the perfect touch of spice.
